  Wow. Well Judy came to my rescue 100% i went to her shop with 2 weeks before my dress, it needed some alteration to the bodice and she did it with ease making the dress fir perfectly, then when i tried the dress because it fitted and sat so much better on me there length was very long, with a week to go she did the length alteration, she is a brilliant seamstress and really puts your mind at ease when you go and see her. I am so grateful for everything you did for me and i can't thank you enough, Thanks so so much Alex xxxxx

  I loved my Wedding dress! And I only found it after a day of fruitless searching at other bridal shops... from the moment I stepped into Judy Mott, I knew I was in capable hands. Because all the dresses are handmade, Judy can customise them and make them to your personal wishes. I had the back of my dress lowered and lace added, so it completely unique. There was nothing that couldn't be accommodated and it was such a pleasure to have my Wedding dress made there. I'd recommend Judy Mott to everyone!

  I got engaged in March 2013 and we always knew we didn't want to be engaged long, so we set our date for 31 August 2013. With only 5 months to plan the wedding time was against us - as everyone kept kindly reminding me. Every wedding dress shop that I walked into began the consultation by telling me that due to us only having 5 months I would have to choose my dress there and then and pay a 20% rushed fee on top of their extortionate prices! To add to this stress, I am a very tiny bride at 5ft 2 (at a push!) and all the dresses I was trying on were designed for 6ft busty ladies! I had in my head what I wanted my dress to look like, and most importantly how I wanted to feel. After trying on about 30 different dresses, and many melt-downs later, I was beginning to think that I would just have to buy a white lace summer dress from Top Shop and be done with it! I had never contemplated having my wedding dress made and always thought it wouldn't even be an option for me. However, as soon as I met Judy and started chatting about the ideas I had I knew that it was the only way forward, and no more expensive than buying something off the rack - it was a no-brainer! Judy understood my vision instantly and quickly sketched out a design - it was spot on! She then spent hours with me carefully choosing the correct fabric and making a perfect mock up before making the final dress. I absolutely loved the experience and so enjoyed working with Judy. I felt "a million dollars" (as my Dad would say) and can still remember exactly how I felt all day in my gorgeous dress. I would highly recommend Judy and her team - she is such a wonderfully honest lady with a wealth of experience and such incredible talent. Now I just need to find an excuse to wear my dress again!
